By Air:
Delhi is the important entrance city for northern India with a modern airport. Every one main international air transporter runs through services to Delhi from different centers in the world. Indira Gandhi International Airport is situated at 23km southwest of middle Delhi and the domestic junction at Palam is 5km left from the international terminal.

By Rail:
Delhi is the center of the Indian Railways system with Express trains to every one divisions of the country. The city has two main railway stations in New Delhi and Old Delhi. New Delhi station is within walking distance of Connaught Place and Main Delhi station is about 7km from Connaught Place. Delhi provides express trains to every one divisions of the country. For the foreigners, tickets are obtainable at the International Tourist Bureau (Ph: 011-3346804), situated at New Delhi station. The most important ticket office is at the IRCA building on Chelmsford Road, Pahar Ganj, between New Delhi station and Connaught Place.

By Bus:
Delhi is linked by bus services, air conditioned, deluxe and ordinary, to every one main destination in north India. Five National road pass through Delhi and the majority main of these are the Grand Trunk Road (National Highway 1) from Amritsar in the north, Mathura Road from Agra in the south, National Highway 2 from Calcutta in the east, and Gurgaon Road (National Highway from Jaipur in the west.

The Interstate Bus Terminus (ISBT), at Kashmir Gate (Ph: 011-23867042, 23868836), north of Old Delhi railway station, is the station for every one intercity bus services.
